The Free Shuttle service is no longer available as of May 27, 2022.

What is the Connect2Work Free Shuttle?

The Connect2Work Free Shuttle is a new ridesharing service that brings you greater flexibility in how you get around the Bedford Park area. Just provide your pickup and drop-off addresses, and you will be provided a few ride options. Choose the one that works best for you and a driver will be on your way. All at no cost.

Who can ride?

Any employee working within Bedford Park is eligible to ride.

When can I ride?

You can ride the Free Shuttle Monday-Friday from 6am-10am and 3pm-7pm.

Where can I ride?

You can ride anywhere within the zone outlined on the map.

How to ride with Connect2Work Free Shuttle

I am a wheelchair passenger. Do you have vans that can accommodate me?

If you need a wheelchair accessible vehicle, please make sure to toggle on the “Wheelchair Accessible” option in your account profile. When booking a wheelchair-accessible ride, we will direct you to call our live support number. Our agents will be able to book a ride with a local provider on your behalf.

Last Mile Rides

What is a last mile ride?

The “last mile” is that last leg of your commute between transit (or your home) and your place of work. If you have ever tried to connect from the CTA Midway Station to Bedford Park, you know how difficult last mile can be. We want to make it easier for people to take transit to work, so we partnered with Uber to provide discounted last mile trips.

Who can ride?

Any employee working within Bedford Park are eligible for discounted last mile rides.

How much is the discount?

The Connect2Work program will cover 50% of your ride up to $7. If your fare is $5, you only pay $2.50. If your fare is $10, you only pay $5. If your fare is $14, you only pay $7. Bedford Park employees are eligible for two discounted rides per day.

When can I ride?

You can book a discounted Uber ride Monday-Sunday from 6am-9pm. 

Where can I ride?

You can ride to/from any Bedford Park employer to/from any connecting transit or residence in the Service Area above.

How can I book a ride?

Late Night Rides

What is a Late Night ride?

Bedford Park is home to many businesses with shifts that start or end in the late night and early morning hours. We know how difficult it is to get to and from work during these hours—especially for those who rely on transit. To make it easier for our late night workers, we partnered with Uber to provide discounted late night ride.

Who can ride?

Any employee working within Bedford Park are eligible for discounted late night rides.

How much is the discount?
